Throw away your ropes, tip out the whisky and tablets, cancel the psychiatrist, the doom and gloom is over YES WEVE ACTUALLY WON A GAME.

Disappointedly the Ospreys cup fixture planned was forfeited by Morriston who arrived with 12 players we gave them 2 so we played 14 a side in a friendly. However we did not tell the boys and they treated it as a cup game. Morriston having won their first Ospreys cup game well and had beaten Loughor the week prior were going to prove a tough nut to crack.

We started the game with Webby on the bench due to an ILL PHONE, and the only difference was the coaches banned shortened lineouts and moves in the backs and boy did this prove the right thing to do. From minute 1 to the final whistle everyone looked to pass and not be greedy and this unselfishness led to several good tries. With Lloyd, Nathan and Rio bagging 1 apiece, Cian Gwynne had 2 and Jack Phelps weighed in with four.

The scrums were solid throughout, Morgan must have pinched someone’s arm as the lineouts were great and we even had the confidence to shorten again. Liam stole loads of opposition ball whilst the back row were everywhere. Fluffy carried well and so did Russell who even had the skill levels to sell a wonderful dummy (Honestly, never seen his father or brother do that). The most pleasing forward performance today was Jamie who was excellent in attack and made more tackles than I’ve ever seen him before. Nathan looked back to his best after his stinker last week (although he did see a yellow card off the fantastic referee for continued ill-discipline LMAO). Lloyd moved the ball at every occasion and also made some nice line breaks, with Jack and Rio to the fore, Mathew (great hands) and Alex had more ball today than in the 3 previous games put together. Lewis was one of Morriston’s best player first half and did superbly for us in the second, as did Josh try hard for Morriston before his injury. Webby whose phone felt better by now also played for Morriston and made several turnovers and ran well against us.

The committed Morriston side never gave up and 1 strong run from the no.8 saw him ran straight at our big strong skipper , and gave him the best handoff of the day and he landed straight back on his arse LOLOLOLOL. However although odds on for dick of the day today it goes to our supposedly tough open side who kept asking the outstanding referee how long was left because he was freezing aww love him Cian Gwynne.

Jamie and Liam both did really well today but man of the match with four tries and great defence goes to Jack Phelps. Well done butty see not too bad at inside is it.
