Minis match report

Minis travelled down to Bridgend sports on Sunday 17/11/19 and came away with a bag of mixed results . 

Under 7s
Our under 7s showing improvement every time there playing . They claimed the win away on a close game winning 12 tries to 10.
Player of the match award goes to Cameron Palmer son of BULL . Well done butty.

Under 8s
The 8s disappointed not to get win but there was still smiles all round as the game was played in good spirit. Defeated 12-11 but there was lots of improvement throughout the game . Player of the match award goes Kyan Hopkins son of Kendal.  It's nice to see our current players kids showing there dad's how it's done .

Under 9s

Under 9s played a very strong bridgend sports team this week. Hard fought game with some excellent tackling work by both sides.
Man of the matches went to Teifion Feiven for great tackling work in his first game at Nanty and to Alfie Thomas for his work at the scrum
Stand out performances by our backs aswell Dylan Brain, Thomas Powell, Jac Squires-Griffiths and Cai Thomas with their attacking work and ball handling and passing skills.
A great team effort from both teams which saw Nanty 7-4 Victor's in the end!


Under 10s
The young Falcons had 17 players available and all ready for a competitive game . They played 4x 10mins quarter's to try and get maximum game time for the players.
 Davy Lewis and Koby Goddard stood out with there powerful carries and tackles.  Kieran darkes and Osian Thomas enjoying turning ball over at ruck time .
The Falcons backs looking impressive trying to move the ball out to the wings, fly half Tyler Turner doing a great job creating space for the team . Nanty taking the win with 7 tries to 4 with another great team performance.
Try scorers Davy Lewis x3, Travis Bennett x2 , Callum John 1, Tomos Poole 1.

3. Mason Thomas , some superb tacking and handling skills.
2. Thomas Fenlon (spud), Great job in the ruck area .
1. Tomos Poole,  excellent try saving tackling, turning over ball, not to mention his ball carrying.

Next Sunday we host Kenfig Hill at home .
